We are, however, pleased to offer a freshly cooked 2/3 course evening meals most evenings for only £15 or £18 respectively. On occasions when only 1 adult occupies a room a single supplement applies (price on application). Rooms are available to guests from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival, or earlier by arrangement.

For advance bookings we do ask for a deposit of £20 per person to secure the room. At the present moment we are unable to accept card payments, so please make deposit cheques payable to Flowerbank Guest House. For further details on how to make a booking enquiry please visit the contact us  page.

Food at Flowerbank

Wherever possible we use fresh, locally produced or home-grown ingredients in our breakfasts and evening meals.

Breakfast

To compliment the cooked breakfast we also provide grapefruit and orange segments, a variety of fresh fruits and yoghurt along with fruit juices and a variety of cereals. The cooked breakfast (served 8:30 - 9:00 am) consists of free range local farm eggs (fried, scrambled or poached), grilled bacon, grilled homemade sausage, grilled tomato and homemade Scottish potato scones along with toast and tea/coffee. For the lighter appetite we also offer poached eggs on toast, scrambled egg on toast, boiled eggs or Scottish kipper fillets.

Evening Meal

We offer an optional 2 or 3 course evening meal most evenings, served at 6:30 pm at a cost of £15 or £18 per person respectively.  A selection of the starters, main courses and desserts we offer are below.

All main courses are served with a selection of potatoes and vegetables or salad. We can cater for vegetarians and those with dietary concerns.

Because of the new Scottish Licensing Laws we no longer have a Table License so we are unable to sell beers, wines etc. Guests are very welcome to bring their own drinks to have with their meal. We are happy to provide glasses and chill wines and beers.
