Flowerbank Guest House, an attractive 18th Century listed building, sits on the picturesque banks of the River Cree, in over an acre of private landscaped gardens.  Flowerbank's extensive garden runs right to the bank of the river with plentiful shaded and sunny seating areas (including a summerhouse) for guests to relax. Our secure outbuilding allows those guests who choose to explore the area on bike with the perfect spot to lock away their bikes in the evening.

As well as a cooked breakfast we provide an optional evening meal making extensive use of home grown and local produce, further details of all our food can be found on the tariff page.

Flowerbank is just across the river from Newton Stewart; an excellent base from which to explore Dumfries and Galloway, particularly the Galloway Hills and the areas many fine golf courses. Our position just three miles from the coast also allows guests to explore the beautiful coastline of South-West Scotland.  

Both the guest lounge (see house page) and dining room (above)  are South-facing, with fantastic views of the garden and river.
